Man, has it been a while since I did one of these... to be honest, Mel convinced me to give you guys a proper update. But where to start? Universal Chaos I haven't cancelled it. Just that progress has been very slow, due to everything that happened last year. Hopefully after Mel & I get a certain vaccine and we take some time to relax back at my hometown (which I haven't visited since moving away almost 10 years ago)... Sonic Collab Comics You might've noticed a couple pics in this journal (if you're using the DA app, just look in my Favs for Respect the Past & Truth in the Illusion). Those are covers for a 5-part comic mini-series that Mel-Sky and I have been working on. Parts 1 & 2 were written by me and drawn by Mel, and are online (check the descriptions of the covers). Part 3 (nearly done) was drawn AND written by Mel, while I edited the dialogue to fit into each panel. Please check it out when you get the chance...

A new series appears! After years of putting it off, I've finally started planning out a rewrite of Rare's last original game for a Nintendo home system... Star Fox Adventures! I've been seeing the N64 prototype for the game (simply called Dinosaur Planet) trending online for the past month or so, and after finally seeing it in action, I decided that I'd add some elements from that in my rewrite. And so I don't get TOO sidetracked, I started playing Star Fox Adventures today to help me plan out the story better. Sure hope I can stick with it, cause this is gonna be quite the long one... So yeah, that's what I've been up to, not counting some personal stuff from last year. Rest assured that Mel & I are still very happy to be living together, and we'll keep giving you good art and stories for as long as we're able!

I've kept you guys waiting long enough (stupid Writer's Block), so here's a sneak peek at what's to come in the 3rd Arc...

Far from the planet known as Terra spins another world... only this world's inhabitants were under attack by an massive army of different-coloured raptors. Leading the attack was a shapely woman with hair (that had blue-yet-glitchy streaks in it) covering one of her eyes. She wore a large crown covered in jewels, glasses, star-shaped earrings, and what appeared to be a shredded cyan dress with red hair as lining for a cape... over her revealing warrior armor. Finally, she also wielded a scepter that just looked like a skeletal arm.

"Yes, my Luma-Raptors!" She shouted, while raising her sceptre in triumph. "Conquer this world for your Empress!" The so-called Luma-Raptors were ripping through what homes they could, as well as ambushing what villagers they could find. Just then, the Empress could be heard cackling. "Residents of this forgotten world! You now have a choice... surrender to my rule... or my Luma-Raptors get to eat..."

"Eat what?" One of the villagers nervously asked, startling the Empress.

"You!" She replied, sounding confused. "I-I thought that was obvious." The Empress then snapped her fingers, prompting her Luma-Raptors to open their mouths to the villagers, revealing their sharp teeth and what appeared to be electrical cords instead of tongues. "So what is your answer?" Suddenly, the Luma-Raptors threatening villagers were all struck by lightning from above! "What the EGG?!" It was then that two balls of blue light landed on the planet's surface, and opened up to reveal a pink echidna with sky-blue eyes and a green echidna with blue eyes. Both of which were wearing clothing of warriors, only the pink one wielded a sword and shield. But before the Empress could get a word in, one more echidna fell down to the ground on one of his knees. This echidna was red, muscle-bound, wearing similar clothing to the other two, and was holding what appeared to be both a hammer and an axe.

"Of course, my brother has to show off..." Said the green echidna, making the pink one giggle, while the red echidna pointed his weapon at the Empress.

"So you are responsible for these invasions..." He said to the Empress, who merely chuckled.

"If you think that three measly echidnas are enough to stop me and my conquest of worlds, you are sorely mistaken!" She mocked, making the red echidna chuckle in return.

"Then you are unaware that you face three of Hygold's mightiest warriors..." He replied, as the other two echidnas stood beside him.

"Sierra, Hygold's strongest woman!" Proclaimed the pink echidna, as she readied her sword and shield.

"Trick-Star, the Prince of Illusions!" Added the green echidna, making the red echidna raise his hammer up to the sky, summoning dark clouds.

"And Light-Knux..." He said, moments before lightning struck his weapon. "...the Lord of Thunder!" He then looked back at the Empress, who seemed a little intimidated. "Unless you wish to feel the wrath of Pikaxe, you will cease your conquest at once!" This made the Empress angry.

"Not when I have come so far!" She shouted, before pointing her sceptre at Light-Knux. "Luma-Raptors, commence Attack Pattern Bagel!" The Luma-Raptors all charged towards the three echidnas... but not one of them felt any fear...

Okay. Mel did some amazing art for this arc. But how's it sounding so far? It's a slow progression, but I'm determined to finish this, as the next arc features a certain web-slinger...
