Episode 38 {1}

Kia and Fountain were blown to Flame Core where they not only discovered the spiritual remains of Iblis, but they also re-found the sixth Chaos Emerald, which Kia used to bring back Blaze the Cat! Blaze used her firepowers to deal with the spirits, who warned the girls of their true power. When Kia and Fountain were knocked out by black smoke, some humans showed, who agreed to rescue Kia and Fountain from the volcano...
Meanwhile, Silver, Sky and Zappy woke up at what was left of GUN HQ, where they found what appeared to be two humans sealed within a glass chamber... aswell as a GUN robot manipulated by flames like the ones Blaze dealt with. Sonic, Tails and Knuckles tried to fight the robot, but they all failed... which was when Silver grabbed the last Chaos Emerald, and brought out TodStar the Echidna, who destroyed the robot with ease! While the flames warned the boys aswell, they got another piece of paper referring to the Ifrit...
Who were those humans that saved Kia and Fountain? Who were the 'humans' sealed in the chamber? How can the Flames of Disaster still exist? And who or what was that humanoid robot standing on Little Planet? Find out as Future Spirits continues!

Chapter Nine: Seperated at Reunion (Part Four - Beat That Bass!)

Once Silver, Zappy and Sky emerged from GUN HQ, they suddenly spotted an orange wave in the sky that passed over every few seconds... {3}
"No... not the wave!" Said a worried Silver.
"A wave? Cool..." Zappy thought out loud, and was ignored. "I wonder if we can surf on it!"
"What's wrong with this wave, Silver?" Asked Sky.
"Every twentieth year Little Planet returns to Mobius' atmosphere-"
"It generates a pulse that cancels out ALL Chaos Energy until it leaves the planet once again." Inturrupted a voice from above the hedgehogs. When they all looked up, they saw a black humanoid standing on the roof of the building they were leaving. "Rendering most Mobians like yourselves to nothing but Buster-fodder..." {4}
"Who are you?" Asked Silver, who seemed angry and confused, while the humanoid merely laughed.
"You three can call me your doom-bot, considering what I'm about to do to you..." He replied. The humanoid robot then jumped from the buildingtop and aimed what appeared to be a cannon on his right arm at the hedgehogs. Silver held his hand up at him with his Psychokinesis showing, while Sky dragged Zappy away, who seemed eager to play with the robot.

The robot fired an energy blast at Silver, but the hedgehog used Psychokinesis to pick up debris to block the attack. This gave Silver the cover he needed to hold the robot in place with Psychokinesis!
"Let me guess..." Silver said to the robot. "Eggman Nega sent you here to finish the job, didn't he?"
"Eggman Nega?" Asked the robot, immediately laughing afterwards. "I'm just here to cause more problems for Mobius, since I was denied my purpose."
"Your purpose?" The robot somehow broke free from Silver's Psychokinesis and shot him in the stomach, before he kicked the hedgehog into a wall. This was when Zappy ran towards the robot with an excited look on his face. {5}
"Yay, a new toy for me to break!" He happily shouted before sending two constant bolts of lightning at the robot, which gave him some pain.
"Ngh... is that all you've got?!" Yelled the robot before punching Zappy in the face, knocking him out cold! "Please... this is just tiresome... I'd rather get started with my planetary destruction than deal with the three of you... it's been helping me cope with the loss of my destiny for decades..." This made Silver furious, as he started exuding an aura that resembled his Psychokinesis. [*1] Just before the robot left, Silver hit him with an orb of energy, making him turn around.
"That's the only reason you've been destroying cities and innocent lives all these years?!" He angrily asked. "Is there a fault in your programming?!"
"Perhaps... I don't care, either way..." This made Silver leap towards the robot and cover him in the same aura, holding him in place. The robot eventually broke free again and jumped back. "You want to knock the 'insanity' out of my programming? Be my guest!" {6}

"HERE I COME!!" Shouted Silver, before blasting towards the robot again, but he jumped out of the way and fired a few attacks at Silver, but they all missed. Once he landed on the ground, the robot fired at Silver again. While his attack was on target this time, all three energy pellets were caught by Silver's Psychokinesis, allowing Silver to throw them back at the robot, who felt all three pellets hit him after he guarded.
"Tch. Beginner's luck, kid..." The robot pointed out.
"Try shooting me again. I dare you..." Silver told him.
"Ha. Gladly." The robot aimed at Silver, but he started charging up an attack, confusing Silver... before the robot fired a large blast at Silver! Silver managed to split his attack in two before he started spiraling it around him... "What?! Impossible!"
"TAKE THIS!!" Silver yelled before throwing the robot's blast back at him. He tried firing weaker shots at the attack, but it was no use, as the shot eventually impacted the robot, causing him to fall to the ground.

Once Silver's aura disappeared, he approached the robot, who had electricity crackling all around him as he panted... {7}
"*pant pant* Impressive, Mobian..." He told Silver. " *pant* You just made my list of worthy opponents... *pant*"
"Well, if you're going to put me on a list, my name is Silver." The hedgehog told the robot. "What about you? Can I at least know your name?"
"Heheh... should we meet again, Silver... I may tell you my name... maybe not..." Just then, the robot suddenly turned into a beam of light and vanished, laughing as he did so, making Silver clench his fists in anger.
"I almost wonder why that robot was even built in the first place..." He grumbled before Sky placed his hand on his shoulder.
"We can't worry about that now, Silver." Sky told him, making the silver hedgehog remember the bigger problem...
"Right. We have to get back to Onyx Island!" While Silver and Sky ran away from GUN HQ, Zappy just moonwalked and spun after them...

Later, the damaged robot had reappeared from the beam on Little Planet, where what appeared to be a black hedgehog was waiting for him...
"You were right, Master... *pant*" The robot said as he bowed to the hedgehog. "That Silver is much stronger than I thought..."
"As I expected..." The hedgehog replied with a raspy voice. "You were lucky to escape, still functioning..." {8}
"What is our next move?" Asked the robot, as the hedgehog allowed what appeared to be Chaos Energy to appear around his hand.
"Chaos... CONTROL!!" The hedgehog yelled as he smacked the ground with his fist. The result not only caused Little Planet to glow a bright-green for a few seconds, but it also made that green light flow into the robot, restoring all of its systems! "I want you to find Eggman Nega, and destroy as much of his robot army as you can." The hedgehog told the robot. "Just make sure you're not seen by him... I will not have my plans for Mobius ruined by incompetent robots..."
"You better not be referring to me..." The robot pointed out before he left via a beam of light.
"It depends on how well you perform on this mission... Forte..." Said the hedgehog before he opened his eyes, which were coloured red, but also had a pale-yellow around the irises...
