Episode 36 {1}

While Fountain and Sky followed the voice she could hear into Eggman Nega's base, Silver and Kia let Sonic and Sally fight the Nega Ifrit, but they struggled... even when Knuckles arrived to help!
Fountain and Sky managed to find Eggman Nega's Prelate creator... with THREE Chaos Emeralds in it! While another Prelate Blaze emerged from it, Fountain used one of the Emeralds to bring out Black Soil, a Black Arm who everyone was led to believe died centuries ago! While Black Soil fought Prelate Blaze, Sky used another Chaos Emerald to release Tails, which helped them destroy the Blaze Prelate!
However, even when five of the seven Warriors of Chaos were united, they couldn't stand up to the massive Nega Ifrit, which resulted in Eggman Nega seperating the team and sending them across Mobius in different directions!
What happened to our heroes? Who was that voice that only Kia could hear? Why did the Ifrit start breathing that strange-looking fire after Eggman Nega talked with him? Find out as Future Spirits continues!

Chapter Seven: Seperated at Reunion (Part Two - Blur & Star's Awesome Return!)

"Silver... Silver! C'mon mate, wake up..." Said a voice unknown to the silver hedgehog as he slowly sat up, only to find Sky sitting down with him... and Zappy doing something with his hands as he stood between a wall and a fire... the three of them seemed to be within Crisis City, judging from the damaged-beyond-repair cars, slanted buildings with broken glass and the charred roads around them. {3}
"Man, I was wondering if you were gonna wake up at all, Silver!" Sky pointed out with relief in his voice.
"Well, I guess it was you calling out to me that guided me back to the living..." Silver chuckled, but Sky seemed confused.
"...I... never said your name until you came to..." Sky told him, confusing Silver as Zappy accidentely set his hand on fire.
"What... well, if it wasn't you... Sonic?" Silver thought out loud.
"Me neither, buddy..." Sonic replied from within Silver's mind. "But if it wasn't me, then it could've been..."
"Another one?"
"'Another one,' what?" Asked Sky, when Zappy's red Chaos Emerald started glowing. {4}
"Hey guys! My Emerald's all shiny-like!" Zappy pointed out, but Silver and Sky only noticed when the Chaos Emerald started floating towards the building they were just outside of.
"Quick, after that Chaos Emerald!" Silver shouted, before the three hedgehogs started chasing the Chaos Emerald into the building...

Eventually, the boys caught up to Zappy's Chaos Emerald, which was still floating on a specific path, making them follow it... {5}
"Well, this is boring..." Zappy stated as he stretched his arms while they all continued walking.
"MAYBE, but maybe your Chaos Emerald is leading us to another Emerald..." Silver pointed out, making Sky nod in agreement.
"Your 'brother' is right, Zappy." Added Knuckles from within Zappy's mind. "I'm leading you guys to another Chaos Emerald..."
"So? What's so important about this one?" Asked Zappy, frustrating Silver and Knuckles.
"Man, this dude really is annoying..." Sonic pointed out from Silver's Chaos Emerald.
"It's important because we'll not only be one step closer to having all seven Warriors of Chaos together..." Knuckles told Zappy. "...but my brother is sealed within the nearest Emerald..." This news shocked both Sonic & Tails, since the two of them were connected to each other, aswell as Knuckles.
"How do you know it's him, Knuckles?" Asked Tails.
"I can sense it..." Knuckles replied. "No one else I know has that much Chaos Energy within him... not even Sonic..."
"Hard to argue with that..." Sonic pointed out as their hosts continued to follow the red Chaos Emerald...

The three hedgehogs soon found the glow of the red Chaos Emerald floating on the other side of a hallway blocked by what appeared to be thick, foggy glass...
"How'd that Chaos Emerald get through there?" Asked Sky.
"Easy. This thing is just a force field." Zappy replied as he walked towards the glass, only to get bumped back when he came into contact with it! "What gives? Why can't we go through? Do we have to pay a toll or something?" But from within the yellow Chaos Emerald, Tails spotted something... {6}
"Guys, look at this." [*1] He said, pointing everyone to a plaque with writing on it. "Can anyone make it out?" That was when Silver crouched down to get a closer look...
"Let's see..." He muttered as his hand shined on the plaque, making it easier for Silver to read. "It says... 'MAY MY LOVE FOR ROCK AND ROLL LIVE FOR ALL TIME...' something... 'LIGHT.' This confused the guys... "What's that supposed to mean?"
"You got me." Sky replied.
"Maybe that 'LIGHT' part is part of a name, judging from where it's been written. Or carved..." Tails suggested, giving Zappy a thought...
"Of course! Whoever this Light guy is, he must've loved that ol' time rock 'n roll!" He loudly stated, making Silver and Sky plant their hands over their faces. When Sky removed his hand however, he spotted what appeared to be people standing in the glass chamber...
"Look, there's humans in there!" He exclaimed as he pointed at what appeared to be one perfectly round head, while the other head had long hair tied up. The hedgehogs tried knocking and banging on the glass to try and get their attention, but they didn't even move an inch... "They're not budging..."
"Maybe they're in a deep sleep." Suspected Silver. "That might mean that the fog in there is just sleeping gas..."
"Asleep standing up?" Asked Knuckles from above them. When the hedgehogs looked up, they saw a opening to a vent that the red Chaos Emerald was floating around. "C'mon, this is how I got to the other side!" As the hedgehogs started climbing into the vent one-by-one, Tails couldn't help but look back at the silouettes in the chamber from his Chaos Emerald...
"What is it, Tails?" Asked Sonic from Silver's Emerald.
"If that isn't sleeping gas, Sonic... do you think they could be robots in there?" He asked back, but Sonic just chuckled in response.
"Nah... if anything, they're probably just in stasis capsules we can't see." Sonic replied as Silver followed Sky into the vent.

About half an hour later, Silver was squinting as he looked around the place, while following the red Chaos Emerald with Sky and Zappy. {7}
"You guys wanna know something weird?" He asked Sky and Zappy.
"You've gotta crush on Fountain?" Zappy guessed, making Silver blush in response. "Well, hands off bro. I saw her first!"
"No, that's not it!" Silver angrily replied. "I honestly feel like I've been here before..."
"Well that's no where near as interesting." Zappy pointed out, making Silver give him an angry look again.
"Silver, it's another Chaos Emerald!" Exclaimed Sky, who was pointing at a green Chaos Emerald.
"Silver quick, release me before-" Said a voice that only Silver could hear... before a massive robot hand encased the Chaos Emerald! {8}
"Wh-what's that?!" Asked a startled Sky, as a robot rose from below... and had flames flowing through its body. This robot had no legs, but it had large shoulder-blades with jet exhausts underneath them. [*2] When the robot's head appeared, Silver spotted a white 'G' with stars and a wreath around it, making him gasp in realization...
"I knew it!" He exclaimed. "This is GUN HQ! Why didn't I know this Chaos Emerald was here before?!" [*3] The three hedgehogs then heard laughter from multiple demonic voices... which Zappy joined as he rolled on the ground...
"You didn't know about this Chaos Emerald because this Warrior didn't care about you until recently..." The voices told Silver. "However... should you agree to surrender your Chaos Emeralds over to us, your lives shall be spared..."

"Yeah, right! I'm not giving up my shiny new pal!" Zappy pointed out as he nuzzled his red Chaos Emerald.
"Yeah, lucky me..." Muttered Knuckles, sarcastically.
"Neither am I! These Chaos Emeralds are only for protecting Mobius!" Added Sky, making Tails cheer from the yellow Chaos Emerald. Silver wasn't so sure...
"And what say you, Knight of Kronos?" Asked the demonic voices, confusing Silver. {9}
"Don't listen to them, Silver!" Sonic told his host. "The only reason why our buddy didn't call for you back then was cause it wasn't the right time for you guys to know about us... c'mon, these fireflies don't know anything about you! I mean, 'Knight of Kronos?' What's up with that?!" It was at this moment that Silver held his Chaos Emerald tight.
"I don't know who you are, or where you come from..." He told the voices. "...but NO ONE tells me to trade the Chaos Emeralds for my life!"
"Brave last words, Knight of Kronos..." The voices replied, as they prepared the robot to fight... and the hedgehogs gripped their Chaos Emeralds tight. "Now prepare yourselves to spend eternity in the Underworld!"
"Chaos... FUSION!!" Silver, Zappy and Sky shouted as they raised their Chaos Emeralds above their heads. Although Zappy did with a silly expression on his face. The robot was blinded as the three Chaos Emeralds started glowing their own colours... When the glow eventually faded, Silver was replaced by Sonic, Sky was replaced by Tails, and Zappy was replaced by Knuckles. {10}
"This is it, guys. You ready?" Asked Sonic.
"Right with you, Sonic!" Tails replied.
"No worries!" Added Knuckles.
"Then let's do it to it!" Shouted Sonic before the three of them ran towards the robot.

Just before Sonic could land a Homing Attack on the robot, a shield appeared in front of its head, bouncing him back! {11}
"Take this!" Yelled Tails as he hovered in the air before blasting an energy ball at the robot's head from above... but due to the shield's presence, Tails' attack had no effect.
"You call THAT an attack?" Asked the voices in a mocking tone. Suddenly, the shield lowered just before the robot fired a large laser beam at Tails, making him crash down to the floor, and also forcing Sky to regain control before he passed out.
"Tails! Sky!" Knuckles cried, before he got slammed into a wall by one of the robot's large hands! When the robot removed its hand, Zappy had returned, but he too, was knocked out.
"Knuckles! Zappy!" Yelled Sonic, before grabbing both Sky and Zappy, and throwing them both over his shoulder.
"Firing Anti-Matter Cannon..." The voices stated, as the robot moved in a strange way. Before Sonic knew it, he was running away from a massive sphere of light energy that looked quite dangerous! "Recharging Anti-Matter Cannon... it is only a matter of time, O Knight of the Wind..." It was then that Sonic thought of something...
"(Now I get it...)" He thought. "(The shield drops whenever it attacks...)" Sonic decided to stay still, confusing the voices for a brief period.
"Fine. If you do not wish to delay your doom any longer... allow us to oblige you..." The robot fired at Sonic, but he Quick Stepped out of the way and Boosted right into the robot's chest, making it lose the green Chaos Emerald in the process! But the robot quickly took aim of Sonic and shot him with the laser, causing him to give Silver back control. {12}
"Ngh... thanks, Sonic." He groaned, as he started reaching for the green Chaos Emerald with his hand. "I'll take it from here..." Just before the robot's hand could grab the Emerald once again, Silver used his Psychokinesis to bring to him!
"NO!!"
"*sigh* Yes... Chaos... FUSION!!" Once again, a Chaos Emerald started glowing around Silver. Except this time, it was green. And taking Silver's place once the glow faded was a green echidna wearing a black hat, a black jacket, and black spiked shoes. He also had all but two of his dreadlocks tied up at this back of his head, aswell as wearing gold-coloured socks and spiked gloves. And along with wearing Silver's bracelets, this echidna also had his eyes, and the green Chaos Emerald on his chest. {13}

"TodStar! Dude, good to have you with us!" Sonic exclaimed when he saw the echidna through his Chaos Emerald.
"So... the Son of Chaos has returned..." The voices pointed out, making the green echidna get angry, as an arrow of Chaos Energy appeared in his left hand.
"Yeah, I s'pose so." TodStar replied, before throwing the arrow at the robot's head, disabling the shield in the process! "And I guess I'm back with a vengance!" TodStar then jumped up to the robot's head and started punching it. After a while, his right hand was set on fire, making his attacks more powerful. The robot attempted to flatten the echidna, but TodStar jumped out of the way, giving the robot more damage! {14}
"You too, desire to believe in whatever lies Silver has told you..." The voices suspected as orbs of Chaos Energy appeared around both of TodStar's hands.
"They're not lies. And whatever you are... you're about to be blasted to kingdom come! Chaos... BLAST!!" TodStar then unleashed a beam of Chaos Energy from his hands at the robot's head, making the robot fall apart! But it was at that moment that flames emerged from the wreckage...

"You fools have only experienced a mild taste of my wrath..." The voices informed TodStar, aswell as Sky and Zappy, who had just woken up. "...and once the seven Chaos Emeralds come together to stop my loyal pawn, not even the Warriors of Chaos will be able to stop me!" Once the flames disappeared, a small piece of paper was all that was left of them... before TodStar could pick it up however, he felt a pain that resulted in him returning to his Chaos Emerald, bringing back Silver, who picked up the piece of paper. {15}
"What's it say, Silver?" Asked Sky, who noticed what the silver hedgehog was holding.
"It says... uhh... 'The Ifrit held the power of destruction, and the power to bind one's soul...'" Silver replied, seeming as confused as Sky. "That sounds more dangerous than I remember..."
"I would certainly think so, since those flames left it behind!" Added Sky, not knowing that Zappy was chowing down on a bag of marshmallows.
"C'mon, we need to get back to Onyx Island." Silver said to the hedgehogs, and while Sky followed Silver, Zappy was dancing while being held by Silver's Psychokinesis.

What the hedgehogs didn't know was that a familiar moon had returned just above the surface of Mobius, and was generating a constant pulse of some sort. Standing on top of the moon was a humanoid figure; it had metal fins on the back of its head (to resemble a cobra), and it looked like it was missing a hand. As soon as the pulse began, its red eyes opened in anger... {16}
"Time for Mobius to get more payback... for denying me my ultimate battle..." It said as the reflection of Crisis City could be seen in its eyes.
